Appointment Cancellation Policy

Our goal is to provide quality health care to all of our patients in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our staff, but our other patients as well. Please be aware of our policy regarding missed appointments.
When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other patients. In order to be respectful to our other patients, please call the clinic as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment. We kindly ask that you cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance.
How To Cancel An Appointment
To cancel your pet’s appointment, please call the office at 262-763-8113. If you call the clinic after-hours, please leave a detailed voicemail. You may also email the clinic at firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel an appointment.
The first time there is a “no-show” there will be no charge to the client. After the first occurrence, the client will be required to leave their credit-card information on file to book another appointment. A second occurrence will result in the client being charged a $20 fee.
What is considered a “No-Show”
A “no-show” is a client who misses an appointment without cancelling it. A failure to be present at the time of a scheduled appointment will be recorded in the patient’s chart as a “no-show.” This includes arriving 10 minutes after your scheduled appointment.
The first time that a client arrives 7 minutes late (or more) to an appointment, there will be no charge to the client, but we will require the appointment to be rescheduled for a later date. A 2nd occurrence will result in a $20 late fee and the appointment being rescheduled for a later date. The client will be required to leave their credit card information on file in order to reschedule the appointment.
Surgery Appointment No-Show
If a client is a “no-show” to their pet’s surgery appointment they will be charged a $50 fee. The client will be required to leave their credit card information on file to reschedule the surgery or schedule any future appointments. The client may be required to pay a deposit in advance in order to reschedule the surgery appointment.
